# Referral FAQ

> Common questions about Atlas vault referral codes and rewards.

### Can I refer myself?

No. Self-referral is blocked on-chain.

### What if someone deposits less than \$100?

The deposit still succeeds, but no referral attribution is created.

### Can I change my referral code?

You cannot edit an existing code string. You can create additional codes, and code ownership can be transferred to another wallet.

### What if someone uses a different referral link after I referred them?

Referral attribution is first-touch per vault. The first valid referral bound for a `(vault, user)` pair remains permanent.

### Which chains are supported?

Arbitrum vault referrals are the primary supported path today.

### Are staking referrals supported?

Not currently. Referrals apply to vault deposits only.

### What token are rewards paid in?

USDC on Arbitrum.

### Is there a minimum to claim?

There is no minimum claim amount, but each accrual has a 7-day cooldown before claim.

### Can a referral code be disabled?

Yes. Governance can freeze a code to prevent new bindings.
